Sired by KD Catalenas Bugsy, son of producing ranch sire Pocos Blue Catalena and out of a daughter of Sweet Gallo Oak by Gallo Del Cielo. Rebel, as we call him, is as sweet as they come and dog-gentle. He passes his wonderful demeanor and thick build on to his get. We use Rebel to work cattle and bring in the mares from the pasture, he is always a perfect gentleman. His grandsire, Catalena Son Evans is an earning and producing son of Catalena Boy with a ton of excellent rope and cow horses in current competition. Dam, FQHR Rio Badger Lady was sired by Rio Blue Badger. He was one of the pillar stallions in the Froelich Legacy Quarter Horses breeding program. They have been breeding and producing excellent ranch, all-around, and arena horses since 1948. Rio Blue Badger has produced over 50 foals and has never produced a red baby. He was never color tested but it seems he was EE. He is Skipper W bred and a true foundation sire. He's a wonderful combination of color, class, and brains that he has consistently passed on to his foals. Piper's second dam was bred and raised from the Froelich ranch program as well. Her maternal grand sire, McKeag, was the senior sire and backbone to the Froelich Legacy Quarter Horses breeding program for 32 years. He left behind a legacy of solid, good-minded, ranch horses and they Froelich's have kept many of his sons and daughters back to continue their breeding program.
